Written and directed by Sofia Coppola (based on the novel by Jeffrey Eugenides) and starring Kirsten Dunst, Kathleen Turner, James Woods, Josh Hartnett and Jonathan Tucker, The Virgin Suicides premiered at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.
